Marine and freshwater eco-systems are under pressure

We need a viable alternative to toxic anti foul compounds

Research shows that many commercial anti foul paints, whilst performing an essential function for both leisure and commercial vessels, are harmful for marine and inland water environments. (1)

Anti foul products typically contain biocides such as copper oxides, thiocyanates, zinc oxides and pyrithione. These toxic compounds kill organisms both on the boat and in the marine environment with consequences throughout the whole eco-system.

Our solution: a new biocide-free anti foul coating

Using advanced polymers typically used in health and bio-medical applications, we are creating a revolutionary foul prevention coating specially formulated to reduce environmental impact.

Our Hybrid Polymer System inhibits waterborne organisms from attaching too firmly to the boat in the first place, rather than relying on indiscriminate biocides.

Our product can be used on any type of hull as well as engines, outdrives or IPS, rudders or external gear, as it contains no metal ions which can cause failure of vital marine anodes.

Our biocide-free coating is not just better for your boat, it’s better for the environment.
